Creatures 2 Creatures 3 Tutorials FAQs My Stuff Other |
This is where I'll be putting my various Art tutorials. If they're at all popular, I'll put up more of them. For now, my first one will be about creating Furry Norn art. It'll be pretty general, and maybe a little vague at points.. but hopefully some of you will find it useful. As I created this one, I saved copies of it in various stages. I'll do my best to explain what I've done each time. First off, what I use is Photoshop.. so you'll find that my instructions will coincide with the usage of Photoshop 5.0. Photoshop is a very expensive program... there is a demo, but when it saves it puts a large "X" over the picture. A better art demo is Paint Shop Pro, if only because it gives you 30 days of clean, unhindered usage. It's not as good as Photoshop in my opinion, but you could always work in the Photoshop demo, use the Print Screen key next to the F12 key on your keyboard, and paste it into Paint shop where you'll be able to save the work unhindered. You can get these two demos at the following addresses: Paintshop
Pro Demo I've heard a rumour that you can no longer printscreen from the Photoshop demo, can anyone confirm or discount this for me? If this is true, you'll need to find the Paintshop Pro equivelents of the Photoshop tools I use. The Tools I Use... I use many different tools when creating a Norn Art picture... I have a tendency to flip through them at rapidfire paces, as I've become very accustomed to how they work and which will accomplish my desires. I've taken pictures of the various locations of what I use, so you'll at least know where to look when I talk about what I'm doing. If any of these windows are missing, you'll be able to find them under the Windows tab. It's likely they may be hidden.
