Cob Creation Tutorials

Here are some cob tutorials I've written to help you get the basics of cobbing without losing too much sleep/hair. These tutorials are in word 6 format (.doc) in a zip file with any relevant files you need for that tutorial (such as picture or sound files). To begin, just download one of the tutorials below (I'd recommend starting with the first :P) and follow the tutorial through.

Learn how to make a cheese varriant. This tutorial gets you used to using BoBCoB and also teaches you the basics of CAOS

You make a cordial cob in this one. This teaches about using a new sprite file and making a nicely packaged cob.

Teaches you how to make a vendor. This teaches about some of the equally useful, but relatively unknown commands in CAOS.

The loop and doif commands dealt with in this cob. Also poses, random numbers and moving objects.

You make a set of fireworks and learn all about animating objects. A bit less to learn than in the last tutorial, but all very useful stuff you need to know to make cool cobs. :)

Three learn about three new scripts in this one while you make a dolly! :) Learn how to make norns say stuff when they push your toy and all about the extra activate script and what's in it.

Recreate the spade cob I made to get rid of pesky weeds and plants. Learn how to use the ever useful etch command with ease.

Learn all about targs and the timer script as you make a copy of the blueberry vendor available for download on this page.

This one is a critter cob. Learn how to make a critter that'll do stuff forever and ever. Make a cute little green snake who'll slither through your Albia forever (or until you remove him) and brighten up the lives of your norns.

Learn how to make your objects fly. This tutorial also revisits many of the commands visited in the last 9. You'll make a lovely butterfly cob with this one.
