SupportThanks to Sourceforge, we can provide the following Support-Features, which you can find at our main project page at Sourceforge.net. Please don't forget to tell of which program/tool you are talking! In the trackers you can do this with the 'Category' drop down menu. Mailing list:You can subscribe via the Project page under the menupoint mailing lists. The mailing list is intended for announcements and general discussion of wishes, feature requests and problems. Bug-Tracker:As the name suggests you can report bugs and errors in the Bug Tracker. This helps us to keep track of problems and it helps you to get clean software, which does, what it is intended to do! And you can have a look first, if the bug is already reported by any other user. Patch manager:Well, this is not really a support feature, but a possibility for you to influence the developement of our software. If you find a bug and don't shy away from some C(++) source code, you can try to fix it yourself and submit us a patch through the patch manager. If it's a solution for the problem we will include the patch (, be happy that someone saved us some time :) and your name will show up in the credits. If you want to submit a patch, please write the code in the style of the actual program, you submit the patch for. This saves us the time of reformatting, renaming and reorganisation and helps to keep the code clean and consistent. This increases readability as well as maintainability! Feature requests:You think that that cool feature you have in mind for one of our programs should be really added? Then report this in this tracker and we tell you if it's possible and if we are going to implement it. CVS:In the CVS tree the most recent version of our programs are stored. But be warned: Those versions are subject to heavy development. It is possible, that a CVS snapshot doesn't even compile. But we try to avoid this as good as it is possible. For a How to check out?-guide refer to that page and substitude module with libc16, c16-tools, creatures-sprites or libcreatures. The files section:You can find the Download section on the Project page, too. The links here lead to that files. |
