This section is dedicated to The GIMP. We provide a script, which was very useful, when creating this site.

Sidebar

The sidebar script generates a navigation bar with a colored dropshadow. It creates the background image and the Buttons (normal and highlighted) automatically. The original sidebar script was programmed by Mike Oliphant. Since a lot changed from his original scripts (Gimp 1.2 compliance, png support, colored shadow, ...) I don't think, that we have to entitle this as "unofficial" download anymore.

You might ask yourself: "What's the difference between the scripts below?" Well, My script is still structured like the original scripts of Mike Oliphant whereas Tinas script features an all-in-one interface (compare the screenshots below). That's all. It's possible to install both at the same time. (Both scripts are actually in English, but GIMP translates what it knows to the current locale and therefore the screenshots appear partly in German)
