FAQ and known problems

All:

Q: I have about fifteen or even more agents in my template and when I try to compile it nothing happens on the progress dialog.
A: That's a bug that I still have to find the reason for. However it may be that easypray needs sometimes several sec./min. until a progress appears.

Q: Everytime I want to add many agents to the template easypray crashes.
A: That's also a known bug. However until the previous one is not solved this one is not important. This happens only with far more agents than the other bug.

Q:When I try to compile a DS or a C3/DS agent the process breaks with an error message though there were no errors reported from the error dialog.
A: That's a temporary problem until I add full error checking (in the next release, I think).

Windows:

Q: When I switch on/off linux mode nothing happens or only a partly change is visible.
A: You need to restart easypray after changing this option.

Linux:

Q: Easypray (and other wxGTK or even just GTK programs) needs a long time to start, to open a dialog and to open a file.
A: This is a problem with GTK themes that use pixmaps a lot. Use the default theme or a color only theme instead.

Q: The cosfile window shows a lot of flickering or even greys out the window.
A: That should be reduced with the next releases.

Q: If I invoke the help it tells me that there is no found.
A: The path to the easypray executable is set wrong in your ~/.easypray. Either delete ~/.easypray or open this file and change the value of 'App path' to the path where the easypray executable is, f. e. App path=/usr/bin.
